With 14 staff members, Rocky River Dental continues to be a place where oral healthcare professionals come to grow and develop relationships with patients and team members alike. Maintaining the clear vision and goals set forth by Dr. William L. Farr, we are committed to treating each person with the utmost respect and ensuring every experience is nothing but the best. Several of our dental team members have been with our practice for more than 25 years, so individuals can continue to see the same familiar faces each time they visit.
Tru – Dental Hygienist
Before Tru joined our team, she had worked as a hygienist for 12 years. She earned her degree from west Liberty University in West Virginia, but she originally comes from Shadyside, OH. Every day, she loves becoming acquainted with patients and coming to feel like they are family.
Tru and her husband are both huge Cleveland fans even though they both come from small towns. Together, they have two children and a cat. She uses most of her spare time being with her kids and enjoying the fun things to do in this area. She also likes to bake and eat practically anything.
Bridgett – Dental Hygienist
At Rocky River Dental, Bridgett has spent more than 26 years of her 34 years in dentistry as a hygienist. After all this time, she still thinks her patients truly are the best part of her job. She loves that she has been able to develop great relationships with patients and families. In fact, she has treated three generations within the same family! Born and raised in Cleveland, she received her education through Cuyahoga Community College.
Married for more than 30 years to her husband, Bridgett has two adult sons and one daughter-in-law. As empty nesters now, she and her husband enjoy traveling, especially to St. Louis to see her sons, and going to country music concerts. At home, she also like baking, cooking, and watching Christmas movies all year long.
Sayfe – Dental Hygienist
Sayfe has been a dental hygienist for more than 10 years so far, and he has spent most of that time with Rocky River Dental. As a Rocky River native, he studied at Lorain County Community College.
With a dog and cat, Sayfe and his wife, Karen, spend as much time as they can with family, going to the pool, and hiking. They also enjoy traveling and trying to cook new recipes. He is also a huge Browns and Cavs fan!
Amber – Patient Coordinator
As one of our front desk team members, Amber enjoys interacting with our patients and helping them with their logistical needs. Originally from Amherst, OH, she received her education at the Ohio Institute of Health Careers, and she has her dental radiology license.
Amber is married with one stepdaughter and two cats. She is an avid music lover, especially when it comes to Justin Timberlake. In fact, she routinely goes to concerts to enjoy music.
Elizabeth – Office Manager
For more than 20 years, Elizabeth has helped our practice run smoothly. If you have an insurance question or concern, she’s your best resource. In fact, she excels and enjoys the challenge of working with dental insurance companies and getting claims paid. She studied both at Tri-C and at Pima College and has a total of three decades of experience in the dental field.
Elizabeth has been with her supportive boyfriend for 20 years, and they have a little girl. When she’s away from the office, she spends her time sewing, knitting, golfing, gardening, and reading. She feels she has finally reached a stage where she can check off locations to travel to from her bucket list.
Dawn – Front Desk/Scheduling
Originally from North Canton, OH, Dawn has spent her entire career—spanning more than two decades—right here at Rocky River Dental. She learned everything she knows about dentistry and helping patients on the job, and working with people is her favorite part of working in this field.
Dawn has many family members she’s close with, including her sister, brother, cousins, aunt, nieces and nephews. She has one dog at home, and she loves doing crafts. She loves spending time with animals and spending time with her friends.
Cathy – Dental Assistant
As one of our more experienced team members, Cathy has worked as a dental assistant for a total of four decades! When she is able to make a patient feel perfectly comfortable, she finds her work very gratifying. She attended Cuyahoga Community College and has earned certification from the Cleveland Institute of Dental/Medical Assistants. She is also EFDA certified in Louisiana.
At home, she has a Pitbull named Zeus, with whom she likes going on walks. She also likes swimming and spending time with her siblings. Her special talent is multitasking, which comes in handy in and out of the office!
Laurie – Dental Assistant
Every day, Rocky River native Laurie looks forward to working with patients and helping them feel comfortable in the chair. She went to Lorain County Community College and Remington College, where she was salutatorian for the class of 2004.
Happily married for nearly 40 years, Laurie has two children and three grandchildren. When she isn’t spending time with her family, she enjoys swimming, baking, and cheering on the Cleveland Browns. An interesting fact about her is that she appeared on the Wide World of Sports for women’s track!
Christine – Dental Assistant
When Christine comes to work at Rocky River Dental, she enjoys being with her co-workers and interacting with our patients the most. As a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Dental/Medical Assistants, she previously worked for 12 years in radiology licensing, which means she is an expert at taking dental X-rays and images.
Christine and her husband have two dogs and foster animals, preparing them for adoption. She finds great joy in helping these animals find forever homes. In her spare time, she enjoys working out and playing pickle ball.
