New Dental Patient Information Rocky River
Preparing You for a New Kind of Dentistry
The moment you arrive at Rocky River Dental, you will be greeted by individuals who are eager to welcome you and your family. Our attention to detail and patient-focused approach allows us to ensure positive experiences from start to finish. But the process of delivering exceptional care doesn’t begin when you walk through our doors. Instead, it starts right now by ensuring you have all the information you need before your arrival. Take a look at the details below and don’t hesitate to contact our office if you have any questions.
Your First Visit
You can expect your first appointment to last two hours. The reason for this timeframe is that we believe in setting aside ample time with each patient to focus on your concerns as well as get to know you better. We care about building relationships with everyone who places their smile in our hands, so you can expect us to ask questions and listen carefully to your smile goals.
During your visit, we will ensure your records are entered into our system as well as take all necessary dental images using Panorex, FMX, and intraoral scans. We’ll also compile a periodontal record that includes charting and a complete screening for early signs of gingivitis. Our team will then perform an oral cancer exam to check for lesions and other abnormalities before conducting a thorough cleaning to remove plaque and tartar.
If your initial visit is an emergency, we will focus our attention on the problem area and deliver the appropriate form of treatment.
Patient Forms
There is no need to wait even longer in our lobby to fill out your patient paperwork. Instead, you can click the link below and download the forms from the comfort of your home. By filling them out ahead of time, you can reduce your wait time and enjoy a smoother check-in process when you arrive.
Dental Insurance
Our Rocky River Dental dentists and staff members want you to worry less about the financial aspects of your dental care. This is why we are pleased to be an insurance-friendly practice that is in-network with multiple dental insurance plans, including:
- Aetna PPO
- Assurant PPO
- Cigna PPO
- Connection Dental
- Delta PPO
- Delta Premier
- Guardian
- Humana PPO
If you don’t see yours listed, you’ll be pleased to know that we also welcome most traditional plans with out-of-network coverage. Our team will also do our best to help you save by maximizing your available benefits, but please contact us directly if you have any questions regarding your coverage. You can also use our insurance checker below to see if we take your specific plan!
CareCredit Financing
Being able to afford the out-of-pocket costs associated with your treatment may not always be feasible. This is why we are pleased to partner with the third-party financier, CareCredit. Offering low-and-no-interest payment plans, you can choose one that aligns best with your budget and timeframe. Instead of being responsible for the entire amount upfront, you can pay it off over time so that you don’t face a significant financial burden down the road.
