Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Growing up, Dr. William L. Farr had several bad experiences at the dentist’s office. He knew there had to be a better way to provide oral care. As a result, he resolved to become the kind of dentist he wished he had. More than 30 years into this career path, he’s glad he made this choice!
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
For his undergraduate studies, Dr. Farr attended the University of Toledo, and then he went to The Ohio State University College of Dentistry to earn his dental degree. Following graduation, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program and a General Practice Residency. In 1994, he established Rocky River Dental, where he has practiced ever since. In his continuing education, he has been trained in oral surgery, implants, endodontics, periodontics, restorations, and anesthesiology, just to name a few areas of his expertise.

In addition, Dr. Farr is certified with the Northeast Regional Board of Dental Examiner and is a certified basic life support provider. He has also been named a Top Dentist by Cleveland Magazine since 2008.
What Do You Like to Do Outside the Office?
When he isn’t saving smiles, Dr. William Z. Farr likes to be outdoors, listen to music, and spend time with his family. He is happily married to Anne Marie, who is a registered nurse. Together, they have raised three children, including Dr. William Z. Farr at the practice, Kelsey who is an electrical engineer, and Kaylee who is a graduate student and wants to become a dermatologist. They also have two dogs. Dr. Farr is a proud Catholic and is active at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Bay Village, OH. One interesting fact about Dr. William L. Farr is that he was a collegiate cheerleader for both football and basketball at the University of Toledo! Go Rockets!
